Today we deal with a slightly different topic: that of wine magazines.
There is no perfect or infallible wine magazine, but it is possible to choose those that best suit your tastes, interests, and information needs. To do this, it is useful above all … to trust your palate and your own experience!
However, here is the list of the main and most consolidated magazines:
• Wine Spectator: American magazine that publishes every year the ranking of the 100 best wines in the world, based on criteria of quality, value and availability
• Decanter: British magazine that deals with wine and food and wine culture, with particular attention to European wines. It also organizes the Decanter World Wine Awards, one of the most important international wine competitions
• Wine Enthusiast: American magazine that offers a wide range of content on wine, including reviews, articles, interviews, guides, and tips. It also has a section dedicated to wine tourism and life
• Winemag: Italian online magazine that presents itself as a guide to the wines and cellars of Italy and the world, with insights, news, events, and tasting advice.
• Wine Advocate: magazine founded by the famous critic Robert Parker, which assigns its scores to wines on a scale of 50 to 100. It is considered one of the most authoritative and independent sources on wine, with a strong influence on the market.
